Accessibility
statement.

Stevens of Sibsey wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people with visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

Using this website

We have designed the website so that you should be able to:

  • navigate the main content using a keyboard;
  • see a clear focus indicator when moving through links;
  • skip directly to the main content;
  • zoom and resize text without losing important information;
  • use a screen reader with meaningful headings, landmarks and image descriptions;
  • use the website with reduced motion settings enabled; and
  • contact us by telephone or email if another format or adjustment is needed.

Our accessibility standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The website has been reviewed against key accessibility requirements, but it has not yet undergone a full independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim complete conformance at this stage.

We will continue to review new content and make reasonable improvements where barriers are identified.

Known limitations

Some links lead to third-party services such as Instagram and Facebook. We cannot control the accessibility of those external websites. Historic family photographs may also contain visual detail that cannot be fully conveyed in a short text description; please contact us if you would like more information about any image.

Accessibility help and feedback

If you have difficulty using any part of this website, need information in another format, or would like to suggest an improvement, please contact George and the Stevens of Sibsey team. We will consider reasonable adjustments and aim to respond within five working days.

UK accessibility law

As a UK service provider, Stevens of Sibsey has duties under the Equality Act 2010, including considering reasonable adjustments so that disabled people are not placed at a substantial disadvantage when using our services. WCAG 2.2 AA provides the technical benchmark we use when improving this website.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 28 August 2026 following an internal review of the website's structure, keyboard access, focus visibility, colour treatment, alternative text and responsive layout. It will be reviewed when significant website changes are made and at least annually.
